The position exists to set up, optimize, and maintain proprietary automated equipment.
Location: Foothill Ranch Duties / Responsibilities:
Sets ups, troubleshoots, and operates automated systems to ensure smooth production run.
Programs robotic/automated systems.
Assists with process improvement of robotic and automated systems
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of the machines.
Assists Engineers in the integration, configuration, or application of automated systems into the production environment.
Occasionally, the incumbent will be asked and expected to perform various, miscellaneous, and non-standard duties as required. Such duties are diversified in nature and may be changed from time to time to suit the needs of the company.
Skills:
Strong mechanical/electronics aptitude
Working knowledge of automated equipment
Solid troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tool designs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to solve problems independently or as part of a team
Requirements:
Bal Seal Engineering is an ITAR compliant company. To be considered, applicants must be able to meet ITAR certification requirements.
Education:
Associates Degree or certificated post secondary coursework in electronics, robotics or electro-mechanical systems
Experience:
2-5 years progressive and relevant experience in a technical field
Experience in electro mechanical troubleshooting of high tech equipment is an advantage
