Denver International Airport, Department of Aviation - Landside Services is seeking candidates for the position of a Landside Services Administrator. The Administrator is a member of the Landside Services Leadership Team, and is responsible for compliance of the Parking and Ground Transportation facilities at DIA which generate more than $144 million dollars in annual revenue for the City and County of Denver. Denver International Airport is the largest airport parking operation in the United States with over 40,000 public parking spaces and an average of 11,500 exit transactions per day. The parking operation includes employee parking and public garage, valet, close in surface lots, and shuttle facilities. Ground Transportation has more than 600 permitted operators providing transportation services to and from the airport. The position includes administering and building relationships with many contracted services at DIA, to include the following: Public and Employee Parking, Revenue Control System Maintenance, Ground Transportation ontractors and the Towing/Emergency Car Services.

The Landside Services Administrator manages the Contract Compliance Group and is responsible for:
Ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed and enforced.
Directing audits of the policies and procedures of Parking and Ground Transportation Administration, Employee Parking, the Public Parking Contractor and the Parking and Ground Transportation Revenue Control Maintenance Contractor.
Recommending new methods of analyzing data and the creation of new reports that help Landside Services achieve the goal of maximizing revenue while providing first class customer service.
Reviewing the accuracy and usefulness of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports that reflect and analyze all transactions and revenues for Public Parking, Employee Parking and Ground Transportation. This consisted of over 7,000,000 transactions and $144 million in revenue in 2012.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Management, Aviation Management or a related field.
Experience: Three years of technical or administrative experience in contract administration/management.
Education/Experience Equivalency: A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements.

Five years accounting background and management experience, including coaching, mentoring, and leading employees.
Experience in making decisions based on contract guidelines, policies and procedures, rules and regulations.
Providing leadership that supports all staff and promotes the planning and goals of the section and the division.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Advanced MS Office skills, high level of skill in Excel, and general computer knowledge. Comfortable working in different types of databases and a variety of applications and software.
Ability to analyze financial data and reach sound business conclusions.
Ability to identify problems and determine the accuracy and relevance of information.
Exercising sound judgement to generate and evaluate alternatives and to make recommendations.
Ability to organize work, set priorities, determine short and long term goals, and develop strategies to achieve them.
Ability to coordinate within the work group and monitor progress and evaluate outcomes.
Identifies when policies and procedures need to be changed and explain why the change was needed, and analyze information and make accurate conclusions regarding the analysis.
Successfully works with other groups to complete projects and assignments.
Ability to meet deadlines regarding projects and day to day work assignments.
