Collaborate on the creation of on-air promotional and interstitial materials for NBC Sports GROUP. We are looking for an editing superstar who will bring an exciting, vibrant approach to the promotional and marketing work being done by the NBC Sports Agency.
The selected candidate will become part of the NBC Sports Agency, and work with a dynamic, fun, and talented creative team on some of the most exciting projects imaginable. The ideal candidate will have a firm technical grasp on the editing process, but this is a creative position first and foremost and a dedication to your craft is paramount.
Create and edit promotion for NBC Sports GROUP, including short form on-air promotion, sales tapes, and presentations, from rough-cut to final master (output).
Looking for a quick learner who studies all forms of motion mediums and applies new and exciting editorial techniques that can be used to enhance our brand.
Must have a keen eye for detail and be sure all projects support the network brand strategy and appeal to the core audience.
Must be able to provide a new fresh approach to our editorial process.
Must be flexible and be able to work under pressure.
Must be familiar with various genres of music and be able to create effective and unique edits with sound.
Must be a team player who can also work independently.
Minimum five (5)+ years broadcast or cable network editorial experience
BFA or equivalent
Must provide a proven reel of on-air promos, marketing presentations and network brand spots upon request.
Must be highly creative editorial story-teller including the ability to effectively edit music and sound effects.
Must be creatively proficient on various Avid non-linear HD editing systems, including Media Composer HD and or Symphony Nitris HD.
Working knowledge of ISIS shared storage systems.
Highly proficient with Sapphire FX and 3rd party plug-ins.
Ability to collaborate with producers and graphic artists, in addition to working well independently.
Detail-oriented, deadline driven and ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
