The Barista is responsible for taking orders from customers and expediting coffee-espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and is aware of minimum standards for a quality food service operation. Adheres to standard recipes and plating/portion guidelines. Responsible for accuracy of all assembled orders, maintaining par stocks, ordering supplies and rotating product for maximum quality. Interacts with customers and other employees in a friendly and courteous manner.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the minimum knowledge, abilities.
Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary.
An understanding of food and beverage operations.
High school diploma required.
Sales and computerized cash register knowledge.
Customer Service experience is required.
