About the Role:
At Adroll, data drives all of our decision-making. As part of the Business Intelligence team, you will use data to inform decisions making across the company. Using your technical skills, business acumen and creativity, you will build tools to automate reporting and generate insight that will allow clients to quickly and accurately see how our key business products and processes are performing. You’ll be involved in projects from the idea to the end result, ensuring that your insights deliver high-quality and relevant data to intelligently grow our business. Previous experience working in a “big data” analytics environment, with emphasis on providing business intelligence and data driven insight through statistics and reporting, will have equipped you well for this role.
Use knowledge of predictive analytics, statistics and modeling techniques to develop and improve sophistication of Business Intelligence solutions
Work closely with management and their teams to understand their information needs, ensuring that BI strategy and agreed solutions are an excellent fit to their evolving needs
Manage, own and deliver multiple BI work streams, both on an ongoing and ad-hoc basis
Work with Engineering partners to help shape and drive the development of AdRolls’s BI infrastructure including Data Warehousing, reporting and analytics platforms. Minimum Qualifications · BA/BS degree in Statistics, Economics, CS, Math, Finance, or other quantitative field
Database experience including proficiency in SQL
Experience using a scripting language such as Python, R, or Java· Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel (VBA is a plus)
Experience in Web-scale databases, Hadoop or NoSQL technologies
Consulting experience with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and apply initiative and creativity on challenging projects.
Genuine excitement and passion for developing and analyzing large, complex data sets and converting them into the information / insights that drive business decisions at all levels of the organization
Experience in advertising technology
Knowledge of BI reporting layers such as Tableau.
