Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Member Solutions Representative position is responsible for the tactical initiatives of Desert Schools Federal Credit Union as they relate to building member primary relationships, providing world-class service while achieving individual and branch goals through effective outbound and inbound efforts.
The MSR is to build and deepen relationships with members and non-members by matching value added products, services and solutions to meet financial needs.
The MSR also is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with other lines of business within Desert Schools to maximize member relationships, as well as demonstrating effective communication (face-to-face, written, and telephone) with all internal and external partners.
Desert Schools’ Member Solution Representatives are accountable for independently managing sales and goal progress, while displaying passion, excitement and optimism of team and Desert Schools Members.
This position reports to the Branch Manager and requires minimal travel between branches and Saturday availability is a must. The Member Solutions Representative role also has other duties assigned.
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of six months experience in a sales/service role within the financial services industry or other types of retail businesses, with proven sales success and ability to drive results through effective delivery of products and services to members.
The ideal candidate has knowledge of consumer and business financial industry concepts and products while remaining flexible with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
This person must be recognized as an enthusiastic professional who is able to work well with a variety of personalities and is a demonstrated team player. They must demonstrate sales and service success while establishing credibility with peers and members.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred; or six plus months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of current technology including Microsoft Office Suite.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
As a requirement of this position, individuals must be registered through the National Mortgage Lending System and Registry (NMLS).
