of Duties : Performs quality control functions for the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) department to ensure that appropriate risk ratings are identified and assigned; Reviews new accounts for proper risk coding, and if required completes a risk rating worksheet; Verifies any risk ratings that require due diligence; Tracks the results of Quality Control reviews and remedial actions, and endeavors to ensure that high quality standards are maintained for Know Your Customer (KYC) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD); Participates in job specific training and other various bank training programs as required; Complies with all Lone Star National Bank policies and procedures and banking laws and regulations. Other duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

A self-starting individual who possesses a GED or High School diploma. Must have the ability to comprehend technical language and processes. Must possess strong knowledge of personal computers including word processing and spreadsheet software. Strong verbal communication skills as well as good organizational and interpersonal skills are required. Attention to detail and visual and mental concentration are necessary for accurately completing tasks. Must be able to work in a fast- paced stressful environment with frequent interruptions. Must be able to work a flexible schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and occasional Saturdays as required.

Preferred Job / Skill Level:

Three years of banking experience; previous experience in BSA.
