Everglades University is a regionally accredited, non-profit, rapidly growing University with locations in Boca Raton, Sarasota, Orlando and Distance Learning/Online. We are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Registrar. Supervises and manages the Bookstore and the Bursars office. This position oversees the payment of student account balances and ensures cash payment plans are arranged and collected in a timely manner. This position also oversees the daily functions and operations of the campus bookstore.
Specific job duties will include, but not limited to:
- Oversee the overall operations of student financial services, billing and receivables, and cashiering functions of the university.
- Manage cash, cash-related receipts, accounts receivable and credit and collection functions, ensuring timely processing of billing, payments, and collection of program revenue.
- Purchase books and merchandise and maintain the visual display of the campus bookstore.
- Communicate with and provide excellent customer service to student body and be actively engaged in the student experience .
Bursar/Bookstore Manager must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with at least 2 to 4 years of billing/accounting experience. Candidates must possess the willingness to work with students and have great customer service skills.
This is a full time position that requires day, evening and weekend availability.
