The Business Support Analyst provides a high level of administrative support to the Executive Director of the CV service line. There is regular interaction with physicians, senior administrators, and external collaborators, often times on issues with a high sense of urgency. Perform administrative and secretarial duties with wide latitude for exercising discretion and judgment. In addition, perform extensive data analysis for decision-making. Must be able to independently set priorities with little or no supervision, based on input from administrator as appropriate. Must be able to demonstrate and foster excellent customer service skills to promote satisfaction of those interacting with Director?s office, including being able to promote effective working relationships between staff and physicians to achieve outcomes.

Position Requirements:Minimum Education:
Required: Bachelors Degree

Minimum Experience:
Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
Minimum Experience Details: Prefer experience in data analysis within a physician practice setting, but not required.

Position Responsibilities: ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ?Maintains complex calendar; coordinates and schedules all meetings, appointments, events; assures arrangements are made for conference rooms, AV equipment, catering needs. REPORTS - Assist with compilation of service line scorecard and work with appropriate parties and systems to gather information. PHYSICIAN PRACTICE BILLING AND CONTRACTING - Ensure appropriate billing levels per established contracts between the CV service line and outside hospitals/practices. BUDGET, INVENTORIES & EQUIPMENT ? Works collaboratively with appropriate parties to ensure operations are in accordance with the budget to ensure cost effectiveness. GRANT ADMINISTRATION - Assist with management of Cardiovascular Institute grant accounts (LUC/LUMC), including tracking of funds flow, expenses, and income. PRACTICE COMPLIANCE - Maintain Faculty Information System (FIS), ensuring physician compliance with reporting committee effort, GME didactic efforts, clinic/service schedules, and completion of confidential evaluation process. ON-BOARDING - Assists with faculty recruitment efforts of the department, following hospital-wide standard work processes for on-boarding. MARKETING ? Ensure Faculty are appropriately updated in Loyola physician directory and collaborate with Marketing to make edits as needed. COMMUNICATION - Composes effective correspondence, announcements, training materials, narrative summaries and reports, proposals and recommendations and other written materials. AD-HOC PROJECTS & EVENT COORDINATION- Completes various projects as needed or as directed by administrator by proficiently researching and gathering information from internal, external and internet sources. RECORD KEEPING - Creates and maintains accurate filing system and records of departmental activities/projects. TRAINING/MENTORING ? Develops standard work for the Division of Cardiology in order to assist with training new employees and mentor junior level support staff.
