Identify, select, source, develop and manage research, operations, administrative and facilities suppliers. Work with Sourcing & Procurement management and internal stakeholders, to develop and execute Boston University supply strategies for specific suppliers and assist in the development of a University-wide strategic sourcing strategy. Place orders in response to service or material requirements, reconcile invoices and train shoppers. Administer and manage RFx processes, negotiate price agreements and audit for contract compliance as required. Review supplier registration submissions to ensure that submitted payment, legal, ethics and contract terms are in agreement with University policies.
Requires: B.A./B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or a related field, strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, the ability to manage projects, Microsoft Office, and three to five years of experience in procurement, sales or marketing preferably. SAPSRM, Ariba Sourcing and CPSM experience also preferred.
