Mount Mercy University is a Catholic, coeducational University founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1928 enrolling approximately 1800 students. The University offers a variety of liberal arts, professional, accelerated, and graduate degree programs. The Nursing Department offers a large undergraduate major in Nursing and a new Master’s of Science in Nursing.
The Department of Nursing is seeking a full-time, tenure track Program Director for the undergraduate, BSN program. Responsibilities for this twelve month appointment include teaching, recruiting and advising undergraduate students, committee work and faculty supervision. Scholarship and service are expectations of all full-time faculty at Mount Mercy.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in nursing or a related field. A.B.D. candidates will be considered assuming completion of their degree by August 2012. Preference will be given to candidates with college-level teaching experience.
