The Chef is responsible for providing meals for the residents, staff and visitors and for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen environment.
To provide a range of nutritious meals within a set budget and menu.
To conform to all standard regulations in relation to hygiene, food preparation and food handling.
To monitor stocks and supplies and assist with ordering and receiving supplies and minimising waste.
To maintain the cleanliness of all cooking utensils and equipment.
To perform any other such duties that are relevant to the post and the grade as reasonably requested by the Senior Management Team.
Skills and Experience:
Trained and experienced and able to work under own initiative with minimum supervision.
Relevant catering and food hygiene qualifications.
