TITLE: BANQUET SERVER

Purpose: To be knowledgeable of all hotel facilities, services, and local attractions. Perform duties in accordance with The Meritage Resort at Resort standards. Ensures guest satisfaction through maintaining quality assurance standards. Provides prompt and courteous food and beverage service to banquet guests during banquet/catering functions ensuring guests satisfaction.
Responsibilities: To include but not limited to the assigned duties.
Exceed guest expectations.
Serves menu items to guests in a prompt and courteous manner and according to the banquet event order, times the service of courses to correspond with the pacing set by the Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager.
Performs pre and post-shift side work; set-up, breakdown, condiments…
Clears tables after service; removes trays of dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware to the kitchen for cleaning.
Responds to guest inquiries and special requests promptly to ensure guest satisfaction; notifies supervisor of guests’ complaints and unusual situations.
