Under general supervision, performs work of moderate difficulty to prepare banquet tables and deliver pre-arranged menus to groups of guests in a professional manner.
Service oriented personality able to speak clearly and communicate with ability to listen to and understand information through spoken words and sentences. Must be able to carry a tray with 10 dinners, set tables, chairs and rearrange furniture. Complete on-site training period. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid Basset Certificate.
Dependably come to scheduled work shift in a positive state of mind meeting dress and grooming standards for a professional appearance.
Assist bussing staff in removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning, when necessary.
Securely transport food from main kitchen to specific banquet area either on trays or in warming containers.
Serve individual plates of food and/or beverages to guests in a professional manner.
Set and decorate buffets
Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
Must maintain a valid Basset Certificate.

Maintain a clean and sanitary work area to prevent food borne illness.

Difficult situations may present a challenge in keeping emotions in check, controlling anger and avoiding aggressive behavior. Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
Must posses the ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position delivering or bussing food selections. Must be able to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without fatiguing.
Cognitive and Safety Considerations
Must be able to follow directions and perform responsibilities as described. Good communication, problem-solving and organizational skills and ability to follow
directions using good safety awareness and sound judgment.
$4.95 per hour, plus tips
Hours vary between days, evenings, weekends and holidays
