Job Description:
Job Summary:
Responsible for the cleanliness/sanitation of assigned beverage stations including removing trash from area and stocking bars with glassware and ice.
Essential job Functions:
· Keeps area clean, sanitary and free of debris.
· Provides a safe environment for employees and visiting guests.
· Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.
Performs all related duties as assigned.
· Meets the attendance guidelines of he job and adheres to departmental and company policies.
· Must present a professional and pleasant appearance that guests will find appealing and approachable in order to engage in conversation.
Qualifications:
High School degree or equivalent is preferred. Must be at least 21 years of
age or older. Must be able to work any day, any shift. Must be able to get
along well with co-workers and work as a team. Must possess excellent
customer service and communication skills.
Physical, mental and Environmental Demands:
Must be able to work in a smoke filled and noisy environment and maneuver through assigned area during entire shift. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to converse over the telephone in an environment with loud background noise. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Must be able to stoop, bend and reach. Able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping bar counter. Responds to visual and aural cues. Must present a pleasant and professional appearance that customers will find appealing and easy to approach in order to initiate and engage in conversation.
