Job Description

The vessel Barge Administrator will report to the Captain and has overall administrative duties. The Barge Administrator compiles and maintains records of offshore project activities performing a variety of clerical duties utilizing knowledge of systems and procedures. ¨

Send ship’s personnel’s time in on a daily basis. ¨

Notify the Flight Coordinator of how many people will be charged out so the required transport can be secured. ¨

Each day during the execution of the work, maintain the Daily Job Report. ¨

Transmit the Daily Job Report to the JRM intranet site. ¨

Upon completion of a pile job, print out the pile drive log and the length penetration report, and submit to Marine Costing. ¨

Upon completion of a rig move, print out the pipe tally and submit to Marine Costing. ¨

Open and submit the Force Account Notification to the Project Management Team and client. ¨

Receive subcontract reports on a daily basis and submit to the client, if required. ¨

Issue the Job Completion Certification to the client to sign and submit to Marine Costing and the client. ¨

Inputs data and compiles records and reports, maintains filing system and records, operates office machines such as computer and fax. ¨

Routes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail, prepares requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment, inputs hours of work into system for payroll purposes, job cost, and history. ¨

Operates computer in accordance with established procedures, compiles and maintains record of activities of the vessel, equipment, and personnel in accordance with established procedures. ¨

Operates FM, VHF, UHF, and single side band radio. ¨

Performs land based office services such as record keeping, personnel movement, material and supply handling, telephones, fax machines, and other projects as assigned. ¨

Works a 12 hour shift in an offshore environment. ¨

Adopts safety program of the company.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma. ¨
