The Bartender will have the opportunity to greet guests pleasantly as they approach the bar; promote house drinks and utilize suggestive selling skills whenever possible to maximize revenues. Prepare beverages requested by customers or servers according to standard operating procedures. Operate restaurant equipment such as the cash register, telephone, calculator etc. Provide security for guests and property by verifying restaurant bank, making safe drops, following credit card procedures, reporting suspicious activity by guests or others. Be knowledgable of the menus, including preparation time, approximate portion size and serving procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area to maximize safety and efficiency.
