Follow safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment; Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers; Check station assigned to you prior to opening for cleanliness of work areas; Accurately practices service standards on a daily basis; Follow Sea Pines beverage standards and procedures, using Sea Pines beverage manual and recipe book as references; Be able to operate Micros POS (where applicable). No voids or deletes without management''s written approval; Follow cash handling responsibilities as dictated by Sea Pines policy; Inform guests of all beverage, food, and bar promotions; Can recite all menu items and ingredients of each item; Can recite all Premium/Super Premium items - beer, wines, liquors and knows prices - can open bottle of wine; Can answer basic questions, give directions and information about resort and local areas; Performs side work accurately and in a timely manner; Uses daily opportunity to upsell when taking orders i.e. appetizers, desserts and beverages; Can answer all daily specials questions; Be fully responsible and accountable for issued bank; Receive, account and secure incoming orders in absence of Head Bartender; Measure all drinks properly using a 1 - oz jigger. NO FREE POURING!; Have full knowledge of and fully comply with the state liquor laws; Be familiar with and adhere to the Dramshop law; Be able to lift up to 30 lbs; Do not give out any drinks without having a ticket for the drink; Each employee is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management, which the employee is capable of performing.
