The Behavior Therapy Associate is responsible for providing modeling and coaching to an adults with developmental disabilities. This is done through teaching, coaching, and modeling to individuals so they are involved in a variety of events and experiences.
Responsibilities include but not limited to: assistance with and implementation of comprehensive plans of people supported, documentation, attending and contributing to team meetings relating to the individuals served, collecting data and providing feedback to Clinical team on progress; provide basic modeling and training to individuals supported and other team members.
One part time positions available; schedule varies according to program needs. Hourly rate is $14-15/hour. Position is based out of office in Newark, DE but does require every day travel to programs within New Castle County, DE.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor's Degree in related field and minimum of 6 months experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; ability to understand, develop and implement learning objectives; Must be able to pass child abuse, state police and FBI clearances; possess valid drivers license and be able to drive; ability to transport self and individuals to appointments as scheduled; physical ability to lift and participate in activities of daily living.
