We are currently seeking a Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at the Erickson Clinic located in Phoenix, AZ.

Provides screening, assessment, treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling services to general mental health, substance abuse, and seriously mentally ill adults and families in a community mental health outpatient setting. Functions as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment or case plans, assessment criteria and programmatic goals, objectives and activities. Provides clinical assessment. Develops individual service plans for clients in conjunction with team members. Performs intakes and psychosocial assessments of families and their individual members. Supervises and signs off on completed individual service plans and assessments as a BHP as required by Magellan. Achieves and maintains SBH’s productivity standard.

Minimum requirement consists of 21-years of age, Master’s degree in the behavioral health field (Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work) plus two (2) years of full-time behavioral health experience. Licensed or licensed eligible at the Master’s level (LPC, LISW, LISAC) or Licensed Psychologist in AZ required. Good academic and working knowledge of CDOI approach, DSM IV, community resources, psychotropic medications, crisis intervention, and the ability to work with adult/adolescent/child population of various ethnic cultures for co-occurring disorders (GMH/SA/SMI). Ability to function as part of a team, compile, organize and document client assessments, intervention techniques, treatments, case planning and follow-up. Ability to participate in setting and defining project goals, objectives and delivery of services, represent projects and actively participate in inter-agency, inter-disciplinary meetings. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, provide quality internal and external customer service skills to effectively dialogue with all contract and funding sources. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
