Position Summary: Provides consistent, quality customer service to employees, agents and retirees for assigned responsibilities. Coordinates and completes all activities related to employee and agent Health & Welfare plans. Coordinates company Wellness programs and assists with compensation activities. Completes activities related to employee compensation including surveys, analysis, data entry.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Team Leader, Benefits/Compensation. May also receive direction from Manager, Human Resources and Executive Director, Talent Management.
Roles & Responsibilities: Administers the employee Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, Life, Long-term Care, EAP and PTO plans. This includes but is not limited to processing new enrollments and changes as needed, answering employee and agent questions and assisting them with problem resolution.
Coordinates with HR Rep – Benefits/Compensation to administer agent benefit plans. Answers questions, resolves issues and completes daily responsibilities as required.
Develops, coordinates and completes activities related to Company Wellness programs. This includes but is not limited to coordination with vendors, communication of wellness activities, administration of wellness programs, etc. Leads corporate Wellness Team.
Coordinates annual employee and agent Open Enrollments. Works with HRIS and other benefit/compensation team members to ensure delivery. This may include but is not limited to developing communications for open enrollment, processing/inputting data, etc. Works with HRIS Coordinator to update systems as necessary.
Completes activities related to employee compensation. This may include survey input, data base input, review of spreadsheets and other activities as assigned.
May be assigned ownership of, or provide support to, various departmental activities or events.
Administers distribution all required notices (SAR, CHIP,etc) on or before deadlines under guidance of Team Leader.
Assists with vendor management to ensure vendor provides quality services and meets performance guarantees.
Completes other duties or projects as assigned by management which may include covering the front desk, filing and other miscellaneous needs
Requires excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
Requires good organizational skills and an attention to detail.
Must possess or quickly acquire, and maintain current knowledge of legal regulations related various benefit programs.
Must possess or quickly acquire knowledge of HRIS software.
Must be able to utilize computer and applicable computer systems for essential job functions.
Requires the ability to work with confidential information. Position has knowledge of highly sensitive information regarding Company policies, salary, and personnel information, and legal matters, requiring utmost confidentiality.
Requires the ability to set own priorities, assume responsibility without direct supervision, exercise initiative and good judgment. Must possess or acquire general knowledge of Companies' organizational structure, personnel policies, and operating methods and procedures.
HR Certification beneficial.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Some college or a college degree is preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a combination of benefits, wellness and compensation are required.
