As a Benefits Specialist you will be part of our dynamic Shared Service Center which provides HR Services to all North America. In this role you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of Benefits administration services for Roche US Pharma and Diagnostics. You will take full accountability to input data into the Benefits administration system in order to ensure its integrity and reliability in providing accurate and timely Benefits information for our customers.
To be successful in this position, you will also:
Use your extraordinary data analysis and systems skills to conduct ongoing analysis that leads to recommendations and implementation of new and improved processes that are customer focused, timely, efficient, and compliant.
Use HPSM to assign tickets and run various reports to track ticket status, open items, and resolution times.
Work cross functionally with Payroll, Systems, Employee Resource Center & other support functions.
Work with carriers to address eligibility issues & resolve problems.
Proactively drive necessary changes to local processes to ensure all Benefits data meets business and regulatory compliance requirements.
Provide back-up to Sr. Benefits Analyst to process 401(k) funding.
You also have:
A High school diploma and 4 years related experience or Associate’s degree and 2 years related experience. Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Human Resources preferred.
Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team structure.
Excellent problem solving/analytical abilities to independently resolve a variety of routine and complex issues.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
The ability to identify, drive, and/or participate in implementing process improvement activities .
The ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, where multiple priorities need to be effectively managed, while maintaining composure and flexibility in a structured environment.
Excellent follow-up skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with navigation of various online tools and technology, and use of MS Word & Excel. SAP experience preferred.
