Best Practice Engineer (BPE) - Anywhere in the Southwest Region

The Best Practice Engineer will assist field leadership with the coaching and development of markets by providing dedicated on site (field based) training and coaching on current standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions and policies. The BPE will also be working closely together with all levels of field operations leadership to collect, analyze and document field operations best practices.

Summary of Key Responsibilities :
  • Identify, develop and train standard operating procedures which facilitate work efficiencies while achieving company goals.
  • Document process flows, procedures, systems and identify tools that facilitate work efficiencies.
  • Identify, analyze and document Best Practices throughout the Field Operations organization.
  • In conjunction with the Operations Technical Training Team, develop and deliver training in support of operational objectives.
  • Partner with the Regional Managers to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across the field operations team through focused, field based team engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all levels of field personnel across the country.

  • High-level of computer literacy, including proficiency in web-based software applications as well as office productivity applications such as Windows and MS Word, Excel, and Access
  • Must be able to travel at least 75%
  • Ability to travel internationally preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years of successful management in a multi-unit retail/branch or equivalent environment
  • 1+ year(s) experience managing and leading a remote workforce
  • Prior experience in training, facilitation, process improvement and project management preferred
  • Internal experience as a Regional Operations Supervisor highly desirable
