Job description for the position of Executive Sous Chef is as follows...
Responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the daily running of the outlets
Responsible for ensuring the kitchens operation continues to consistently produce the highest quality standards known for.
Responsible for supervising and coordinating the kitchen operations with a hands on approach,
Responsible for managing a team of kitchen personnel
Responsible for preparation of annual operating and effective food cost budgeting.
Responsible for training and developing kitchen personnel and waste control systems.
Responsible for upgrading, creativity in menu planning and developing of menus in line with market trends
Responsible for food quality, produce purchasing and cost control
Responsible for maintaining a high standard of kitchen sanitation & food hygiene measures.
Executive Sous Chef Requirements:
High School Diploma and/or GED required;
Minimum of one (1) year high volume, fine dining, cooking experience;
Must be capable of following directions from the Manager;
Must possess good recall and memory with excellent communication skills;
Must have strong working knowledge of kitchen equipment and appliances;
