Advanced Services Associate
Reports To: Director Of Advanced Services
The Advanced Services Associate is responsible for providing the most professional and exceptional fit services within our markets. You will also be responsible for assisting with Erik's Cycling Advancement courses, as well as. You will also be charged with keeping up on the ever changing and evolving product lines within our industry as they pertain to bicycle fitting and the experiences that they mutually create. The Advanced Services Associate will also be held to their normal position within Erik's Bike Shop. Potential candidates must have a strong knowledge base in both technical and performance aspects of enthusiast level cycling products.
Position Details
The primary responsibilities and areas of impact of this position include, but are not limited to:
Advanced Bicycle Fitting
Must provide the best quality performance bicycle fit analysis and adjustment to Erik's customers using the following fit systems: True Fit, Computrainer, Specialized 3D.
Properly identify and utilize resources to understand and fit all types of riding styles.
Mechanical aptitude to change and adjust parts crucial to bicycle fit.
Educational Courses and Clinics
Provide a welcoming and nurturing environment conducive to both learning and fun for customers.
Facilitate and/or teach customer fit sessions.
Facilitate and/or lead group rides.
Strong understanding of RMS in regards to both sales and service functions, including but not limited to repair check in, special orders, and layaways.
Working knowledge of the fit software Erik's Bike Shop utilizes.
An understanding of Erik's Bike Shop's policies and procedures.
Customer Service
Strong working knowledge and full understanding of the Sales Steps.
Patience and problem solving skills, including the ability to think on your feet.
A strong upbeat positive attitude.
The ability to sell the sport and the lifestyles that accompany it.
A basic knowledge of part and accessory information and installation.
Position Requirements
Minimum of two years with Erik's Bike Shop in a sales environment, or related experience.
Strong understanding of the fitting processes that Erik's Bike Shop utilizes both in each store location as well as our True Fit Advanced process.
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service focus, both one on one and with group settings.Flexible schedule and reliable transportation.Knowledge of computers and technology.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Dedication to get the job done.An understanding and ability to relate the Erik's Credo to this position.Working ConditionsAbility to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
