Northeast Behavioral Associates provides behaviorally based mental health services to children, families and adults. The Behavior Specialist is a bachelor's level behavior technician who serves as primary support for the behavior management plan devised by the Behavior Therapist.

The Behavior Specialist records data according to the plan. The specialist models specific interventions prescribed by the Therapist and coaches and supports parents and other caregivers in the implementation of behavior change through ABA.

*Experience preferred. Will also except Associates degree in related field (Psychology, Social Work & Special Education).

- Service areas consist of Brockton, Quincy, Braintree, Randolph, Hanover, Stoughton, Needham, Dedham, Brookline, Canton, Taunton, Fall River, Westport, Somerset, Fairhaven, Dartmouth, New Bedford & Wareham

Candidates must speak Spanish [and/or] Haitian-Creole OR Chinese

Specific Duties:
-Meet with the clinical team regularly to review specific behavioral interventions and changes to the treatment plan.
-Document all client progress as well as frequency and intensity of target behaviors.
-Provide modeling of behavioral interventions to parents and participate in parent training procedures.
-Report to the clinical team any obstacles to service provision.
-Ensure that treatment is provided in a safe environment at all times.
-Adhere to all agency policies and procedures
-Perform home visits as established by Behavior Therapist.
-Maintain phone contact with families as outlined in program standards and as assigned
-Maintain communication with referral sources and other service providers as needed.
-Perform insurance checks for caseload on a semi-weekly basis.
-Perform authorization checks for caseload on a semi-weekly basis.
