•Retail electricity sales experience is a plus
•Strong negotiation and presentation skills
•Professional demeanor, including excellent written & verbal communication skills
•Proficiency in Windows programs, specifically Word and Excel
•Stellar organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
•Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Goal oriented and driven self-starter
•Build rapport and trust with customers
•Bilingual speaker a plus
•Minimum 3 years of experience working in Collections is mandatory
•A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
•Manage outstanding accounts receivable portfolio to resolve unpaid and underpaid claims
•Perform assorted tasks related to the collection of unpaid accounts including sending of disconnection letters, disconnection orders and disconnection orders
•Collaborate with other Collections Team members to achieve team results
•Perform daily functions in accordance with department guidelines and specifications
•Communicate status of designated accounts to Management
•Perform additional tasks as necessary when designated by the Collections Supervisor or Upper Management

•Have the ability to accept new challenges that come with the ever-changing deregulated electricity market and assist with changes to ensure profitability of the Collections Department
