The purpose of this position is to provide general support for agency activities and services. This is accomplished by answering the phone and taking messages, answering questions and providing assistance and information, processing requests for services, processing the mail, processing payments, and reviewing images. Other duties include completing related projects as assigned.
Sets up new accounts by answering the phone, taking information, providing information, making account changes, and processing requests
Provides general clerical support by assisting patrons or customers; providing general or specific information; processing requests for services, researching information, compiling information, maintaining general office records, processing the mail, and assisting with other services
Processes correspondence by receiving and responding to emails, faxes and other requests for information
Processes payments by verifying information for accuracy, reviewing images, processing payments for overnight payments, and researches and resolves credit card disputes
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ yrs experience in an inbound call center; Previous collections experience preferred
Experience processing cash and/or credit card transactions
Good communication skills with the ability to provide world class service to both internal/external customers
Strong technical skills with intermediate knowledge of the MS Office Suite; Prior data entry experience a plus.
Ability to work 10 hour shifts between the hours of 7am-7pm, Monday - Saturday.
Fluency in English and Spanish required.
Note: Pay = $13.22hr + $1.00hr spanish differential pay after the successful completion of training along with the recommendation from Call Center Managers.
