Responsible for various clerical and administrative duties for the billing department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain files of client billing materials and assist with annual filing project
Assist billing manager, assistant billing manager and billing supervisors with special projects
Assist billing assistants with editing, sorting and proofing billing proformas, draft bills, final bills and reminder statements
Generate, assemble and edit attorney diary reports
Retrieve and maintain off-site storage materials for billing department
Deliver reports/bills to attorney assistants
Other duties as assigned
2+ years of billing and/or accounting experience required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
College degree preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills, oral and written.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
OFFICE HOURS (One hour lunch):
9:30-6:00 (Must be very flexible to work overtime.)
Very limited time off in December or January.
