The Billing Coordinator position will assist with a full review of all billing/invoicing queries and disputes that are outstanding. This position is responsible for responding to billing disputes submitted by clients. Prior to preparing an official response, the Billing Coordinator will navigate between internal company systems and the billing application used within the business to cross-check/validate various details pertaining to the dispute and/or research further. This process will include inquiries across internal teams/functions and follow-up with the client, as required.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Respond to research requests as directed by the Billing Manager

Review client inquiries and disputes pertaining to company invoicing/billing

Prioritize disputes/inquiries and organize daily task lists to ensure appropriate balance between internal and external deadlines

Partner with leadership and cross-functional operations/IT teams to fully investigate the dispute

Utilize internal software products/applications (VendorScape, iClear, etc.) to conduct a full review of the details surrounding the inquiry/dispute

Conduct analysis within the billing software/application, partnering with AIR teams as required, to cross-check data between internal systems and the billing programs

Prepare a response to the client surrounding their inquiry/dispute, as instructed

Once reviewed and approved by senior leadership, communicate the final decision surrounding the dispute to the customer
