DUTIES
Working in tandem with the Vice President for Operations, the Billing Manager will:Oversee all aspects of the billing and collection departmentEnsure correctness of charges enteredSet policy and procedure guidelinesAssist Collection Staff on problem accountsHire and train new employees within departmentWork closely with University health center directors and staffInitiate quality improvement goals and objectives
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will demonstrate billing managment skills, have experience with Advance MD software, offer excellent communication and written skills, possess a history of successful team work, flexibility, and offer a professional demeanor. S/he will know when to consult with others in the company. Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Experience in billing software. Campus healthcare experience desirable.
