The role of the Billing Specialist is to provide billing support to our commercial customers.
As part of the Commercial operations support team, provide business customer communication and updates regarding the status of their account.
Communicate with multiple departments and third party vendors in the scheduling of customer solutions.
Work with multiple 3rd Party databases/systems for specific customer applications installation.
Coordinates with installation technicians and sub-contractors.
Customer follow up re: day to day issues of billing & service.
Resolves all returned bills. Works with customers to resolve wrong address, department information, etc to facilitate customer payments.
Warehouse - Check in & out equipment and reconciliation.
Build new customer addresses - in company billing system (ICOMS).
Disonnect Report - Verification of weekly disconnects and processing all non-pays. Includes the multiple database updates, contacting Sales Rep to reconcile contract and amount owed by customer, disconnecting all Ancillary (Web, Smart Drive, DNS, Email, Static IP, MSS, Dial Access) products.
Service Reconciliation (Web, Smart Drive, DNS, Email Lite, Static IP, MSS, Dial Access, Managed Security) to insure/verify accuracy in Disconnect Orders.
Processes and tracks Serviceability requests from Sales to Construction.
Weekly activity reports.
Flexible in working overtime as required
One to three years of prior related experience.
Ability to work with multiple databases and systems.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Self starter, reliable, ability to work independently.
Proficiency in ICOMS
Proficiency in Close Tabs
Experience with ATG
Experience with Address management tool
