Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required.
POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for generating several different types of invoices and billings. Works closely with Project Managers and Coordinators to ensure invoices are processed in an accurate and timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Compiles necessary data to effectively produce accurate contract invoices and related paperwork.

Maintains constant presence accounts and billings.

Routes contracts for approval and distributes to the customer when necessary.

Acts as a liaison between internal and external customers to resolve billing issues.

Assists with the processing of credit invoices.

Assists with work-in-process (WIP) tasks at month-end.

Opens and closes jobs as needed.

Organizes and maintains billing files and daily paperwork.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

An Associate’s degree in Accounting and one to two years of accounting experience; or

Any appropriate combination of education and experience as determined by management.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must have accurate data entry and proofreading skills (7,000 to 11,000 kph preferred).

Ability to work with numbers, percentages, and possess a basic knowledge of balancing accounts.

Understanding of legal language is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment, but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels from high-speed computer printers and other peripherals. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for two to four hours daily. Occasional travel to various worksites may also be required, depending on assignment.
