We are currently seeking a Bioinformatics Manager for our Molecular Biology Lab.The Manager will work with the current informatics staff in designing, developing, and implementing novel analysis methods and platforms, and will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of other bioinformaticists.Key Responsibilities: Analysis of next-generation sequencing data using existing analysis pipelines. Development and optimization of novel analysis pipelines. Continued enhancement and development of data analysis pipelines for Molecular and Clinical groups analyses. Development of a web interface for management and analysis of sequencing data. System Administration for local cluster.
Bioinformatics ManagerRequirements: Ph.D. or M.S. in Biology, Bioinformatics or Computer Science is required 3-5 years experience with Linux/Unix and NGS cluster use Programming in Perl and a background in biology/genetics are desired Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple groups Good problem solving skills Ability to interact and present to management as necessary Project management and customer service skills desired Must be US CitizenAIBioTech is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
