The mission of CSS-Dynamac is to apply science and technology to create a healthier, safer and environmentally sustainable future. CSS-Dynamac currently holds a technical services support contract with the US Geological Survey (USGS) Fort Collins Science Center which conducts ongoing research on the biology, control, and containment of the invasive Brown Treesnake on Guam, the Mariana Islands, and throughout the Pacific region ( ).
  • Hand capture of live snakes and recording of morphological data
  • Preparation and maintenance of materials and equipment for experiments
  • Preparation of study sites using brush cutting equipment and power saws
  • Handling of live and dead animals
  • Care of lab animals and laboratory work


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, ecology, environmental education or related field
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Valid passport
  • Ability to work legally in the United States
  • Ability to work at night over rough terrain
  • Ability to work on a research team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Snake handling experience
  • International field biology experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel and Word
