Performs preventive maintenance & performance verification of patient care equipment. Develops, implements and maintains an effective scheduled equipment maintenance program. Performs repairs and calibration of patient care equipment. Develops, implements and maintains an effective unscheduled equipment maintenance program.
- High school graduate/GED required
- Associate Degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering preferred; however an equivocal amount of military experience, other specialized training, or job experience is accepted in lieu of a formal degree
- Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) an asset
- Experience preferred
