We are currently seeking a Biomedical Information Analyst for the Frederick, Maryland area.
The individual shall be a highly motivated individual to serve as a Biomedical Information Analyst.
Position will average 40 hours per week.
Demonstrated ability to develop creative analytical approaches to solve non‐scientific problems.
Familiar with biomedical research and development processes; have outstanding interpersonal, organizational and written communication skills; must be able to independently manage projects of moderate complexity.
Demonstrate an ability to write persuasively and summarize complex programmatic and technical issues for a variety of audiences.
Demonstrates ability to work independently in collecting, analyzing, and developing supporting data as needed to provide informed programmatic recommendations to government managers.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access).
Maintain a safe workplace ensuring that he/she is aware of and observes appropriate safety and occupational health rules and regulations. Employee is required to attend safety training relative to his/her position and report any infractions of safety procedures to the facility Safety Officer.
Performs light duties and other related duties as required and assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Science required with degree in Life Sciences preferred or related field or equivalent experience and 8 years related experience; Master’s degree a preferred.
Previous Military experience desired.
Approximately 8 years experience in medical related or R&D work.
Knowledge and experience in the medical/biomedical.
Knowledge of the Navy/DoD budgetary process and Project Management (PM) certification or 5 years experience in a PM role.
Must be able to work independently following a brief period of specific technical training.
