Under minimal supervision, coordinates and performs statistical research and analysis to provide information to principal investigator(s), external clients, management and other agencies. This position does not perform any direct bench or clinical (patient) research.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in Biostatistics or Statistics. Degrees in Computer Science or disciplines
which include application of statistical analysis and research or comparable education and experience
considered. Doctorate degree preferred.
Experience: Typically five years’ experience in applied statistics. Fluent in SAS with proficiency in
Excel, Word, and SPSS.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good customer
service skills. Ability to summarize detailed information in an organized and concise manner for nonstatisticians.
Ability to supervise others.
Certificate/License/Registration: SAS certification desirable. All Certifications and Licenses
required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.
