Our Parks and Destinations group specializes in serving consumers; recreational and entertainment needs in national and state parks, zoos, aquariums, science centers, museums and other day-use cultural attractions.

The scope of our operations includes operating lodging, conference and meeting space, houseboats and other marine activities, retail merchandise shops, fine dining restaurants, and interpretive tours in some of this country s most pristine protected lands and national parks.

Principle Functions:
The primary focus of this role is to market and broker the sell of boats stored at Lake Powell in dry storage, slips or buoys. The Broker will provide three tiers of services, full brokerage, listing brokerage and limited brokerage. Full brokering may involve consultation on the sale, estimate of fair market value using marine blue books or other sources. This job will include responsibility for developing new markets, networking and implementing marketing strategies. This job will require travel to Northlake and to boat shows.

Essential Functions:
Rapidly gain in depth knowledge and expertise of Lake Powell s Operation and Brokerage products and procedures.
Follow up on all leads and convert leads into sales.
Optimize prospects, following up on all leads and converting to contracts.
Conduct business in a professional, team oriented and detailed manner.
Assist in the development and execution of a marketing plan for Boat Brokerage in collaboration with the Marina Manager
Coordinate demo boats, dockage, showing, visits and sea trials as needed.
Travel to Northlake as needed.
Maintain records of all transactions as required by ARAMARK and the NPS.
Procure certification of Certified Professionals Yacht Broker.
Must be honest, dependable and forthright, with the ability to confidently work without direct supervision
Maintain a positive attitude always be willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed
Maintain positive attitude in high stress situations
Must be flexible - willing to work a varied schedule
Report to work in proper uniform
Other duties as assigned

Status and Scope:
Reports to the Marina General Manager. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have prior management experience.
Must have strong organization and communication skills and be able to interact with a diverse workforce and customer base
Must possess attention to detail, focus and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will be an experienced sales professional, with a proven track record in either high ticket products or marine industry.
Able to work independently,
Ability to follow specific procedure for closings.
Highly organized with an entrepreneurial approach.
Able to quickly gain credibility and confidently close sales.
Confident when presenting to clients face to face, over the phone, or via email.
PC literate with advanced use of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of DockMaster would be an advantage.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to confidently negotiate and communicate effectively at all levels.
A flexible and adaptable attitude.
Perseverance, self-motivation and strong work ethics
An aptitude and learned skills in negotiating and communication

Travel Requirements: Little or No Travel ( >20%)

Lifting Requirements:
SEDENTARY - Lifting up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying small items (files, manuals, binders)
