Opis Management Resources is seeking a pleasant and professional individual for the position of Bookkeeper/Benefits Designee at their skilled long term care nursing center in Ormond Beach, FL. This position processes center information and sends it to the Corporate office in a timely manner, processes payroll in accordance with policies and procedures and maintains proficiency with the payroll system.
Will maintain Worker Compensation, Accident logs and OSHA logs. Will be responsible for various Human Resource functions within the center, including job applicants, new hire activities, conduct screening interviews and posting job positions. Will also maintain accurate FMLA log and report all issues to the Corporate Human Resource department. Will work closely with the center Administrator, Business Office Manager and the Manager of Business Office Systems. Will be crossed trained to serve as backup to the Business Office Manager and all aspects of the Business Office.
High school degree or equivalent, with a minimum of two (2) years experience in Payroll. Requires strong organizational skills, highly proficient computer skills and well developed verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to handle a variety of assignments, work independently and have the discretion to handle confidential information.
