The Branch Administrator supports the local Kratos branch by handling daily administrative functions and responsibilities needed to assist with the operation of the branch. Responsibilities include general office duties, some purchasing, scheduling and customer service. Solid communication and office management skills are required, as well as some accounting knowledge.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Interact with all employees and vendors in a businesslike, cooperative and courteous manner.
Ensure the maintenance of a working office environment that yields productivity.
Assist office staff in maintaining files and databases.
Ensure that employee timesheets are turned in and sent in a timely manner.
Procurement and processing of Purchase Requisitions, and tracking of products or services as designated in the sphere of the position.
Assists with A/P and A/R to ensure that invoices are paid on time and supplier accounts are up to date.
Ensure expenses are applied to the appropriate department.
Assist in periodic cost evaluations for product and/or services.
Assist the Purchasing and Logistics Departments with Inventory Control and Asset Management.
Serve as the receiver of open mail, process important documents and ordered items delivered to the organization’s address.
Track office inventory and oversee essential office supplies for the branch
Perform a series of administrative functions and any other tasks assigned by the Branch Manager as needed.
Effective verbal and written communication skills
The ability to read and interpret documents such as invoicing, policies and procedures. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, identify problems, capture information and communicate effectively.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Knowledge and understanding of Outlook and the Internet
Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
Highly organized and flexible
Ability to multitask and meet challenging deadlines
Must be self directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision

Education and Experience : A High School Diploma, or GED and a minimum of 3 years experience in a highly aggressive office environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
