Position Summary :
The purpose of the Branch Liaison Department is to act as the primary liaison between the Branch office staff and the various Accounting departments (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial Controls and Billing). In addition, the department acts as the primary contact for Carriers to resolve their questions.
The Branch Liaison Specialist reports to the National Branch Liaison Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all questions from either Branches or Carriers are addressed in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Take inquiries from the branches and ensure that all issues are addressed either by answering internally to the group or forwarding requests to the appropriate party.
Track branch questions/issues and ensure that the responsiveness of the team is within SLA agreements.
Identify and resolve issues and coordinate appropriate solutions to ensure that they are resolved in a timely fashion
Track carrier qestions/issues and ensure they are quickly resolved.
Assume other responsibilities and project leadership roles as assigned.
High School Diploma
5 years or more of Finance/Accounting/Billing experience - preferably in a role that interacted with operations/sales functions as well as accounting functions.
Insurance Industry experience desired.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word.
Ability to quickly learn new systems. Desired:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Customer relations orientation (Experience with Call centers or help desks a plus) and detail-oriented.
Organizational and time management skills (i.e., ability to manage multiple priorities).
EPIC (Applied Agency Management System) , DMS (Document Management System), RoCK (Repository of Carrier Knowledge), SLM (Surplus Lines Manager), ICE (Intercompany Clearing Exchange), GREAT (Gallagher Reconciliation Evaluation Analysis Tool) experience a plus.
