The CertusBank Branch Manager will motivate, lead, develop and coach an assigned branch team as they attain new consumer and small business relationships and deepen/retain existing client relationships. Customer relationships will include lending, deposits, treasury services, fee income and identifying referral opportunities to other bank business lines. This individual will lead and oversee the sales, management and operations of the branch on a daily basis in a positive and professional manner. The Branch Manager will adhere to bank policies, procedures and security measures to protect the customers and bank from losses. This individual will be responsible for business development with consumers and small business prospects, leading the branch in solidifying customer relationships through cross-sells and referrals, and consistently delivering extraordinary service to existing and potential clients, both in person and on the telephone.
  • Minimum 5+ years of recent, proven “in market” retail branch management experience, market leadership, and consumer/small business lending experience required
  • Proactive sales skills and a commitment to providing extraordinary customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proven client relationship acquisition and relationship deepening success
  • Familiarity with personal computers and Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Able to represent CertusBank successfully in leadership roles within the community
  • Proven problem solving, conflict resolution, time management, and decision-making skills required .
  • Must have proven ability to lead, train, motivate, and develop employees.
  • Project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Must be able to handle all customer situations while upholding CertusBank’s philosophy of always delivering legendary service.
  • Knowledge of bank products, services, departments, and state and federal regulations
  • Ability to deal effectively, tactfully and professionally with customers and bank personnel
