We are currently seeking a Branch Manager for our Fairfield, CA branch to be responsible for the entire branch operation within the assigned territory. The key roles of a Branch Manager include: effectively staffing, organizing, development, directing, strategically planning and direct sales efforts; training and managing Branch sales office support and shop and field personnel, as well as being responsible for Branch facility management. Some key duties include but are not limited to:
Promoting sales within the industrial, municipal, building trades, and construction markets. Responsible for overall Branch sales and service.
Assisting in the preparation of bids, proposals and submittals and maintaining all records necessary for a successful conclusion.
Recruiting, selecting, training, appraising, developing, and capably managing and leading branch personnel in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Branch facility management, including responsibility for ESH policy and procedure compliance.
Strategic business development planning and execution, including annual budgeting and ongoing sales growth planning.
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience and 5+ years of management and technical sales experience, preferably within the pump industry or working in the field of
Strong technical knowledge in all aspects domestic wastewater market segments and a proven track record of successful consultant, contractor, and developer technical sales and support, as well as distributor/sales force development experience.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
Successful candidate must have s
trong presentation, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and strong customer focus and capable of working independently.
Must also be capable of motivating/ supporting both direct reports and sales professionals, as well as competently presenting key product and application advantages to engineers and end users in a variety of industries.
