This position will assist in all aspects of the Hearst Brand Development department, including Licensing, Marketing, Creative, and New Business efforts to secure new licensees and maintain Hearst’s existing license business. The Brand Assistant will perform general administrative responsibilities for the Vice President, including travel and meeting coordination, filing expense reports, conducting new business and manufacturer research, tracking industry news and trends, and assisting with brand presentations. He/she will support the licensing and marketing groups by assisting in the coordination of licensing and retail research, trafficking document and sample approvals, securing assets (marketing materials/collateral, product samples), filing, and managing database of licensing/branded materials.
Required Skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to interface with management at a variety of levels, self-starter, highly organized, resourceful. MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year relevant advertising/marketing/licensing or publishing company experience or one year in entry level sales associate position
