We're looking for Marketing Coordinator who's a rising star in marketing and wants to get great experience building a rising brand.

The Marketing Coordinator is truly a key member of the marketing team, supporting broader activities in building brand awareness and engagement through brand and partner marketing. We have a high profile network of media partnerships who support our $26 million PSA campaign on TV, radio, and online and through syndicated content distribution. You’ll make a significant impact on Common Sense Media's growth by helping produce and distribute our PSA campaign, supporting our developer outreach program, and working with leading media partners. You'll also support and have exposure to content marketing, event marketing, and analytics. This role reports to the Director of Brand Marketing.


Brand and Integrated Marketing – Participate in the planning and execution of brand and integrated marketing campaigns across broadcast, online, search, affiliate, and social media, including trafficking assets and content preparation. Support developer outreach program through maintenance of contacts database, tracking correspondence.

Project Management – Manage the rollout of campaigns and projects, tracking key milestones and collaborating across departments and with outside agencies and partners to ensure that all channels are executed successfully .

Analytics – Support the Marketing Manager in conducting analysis and reporting of analytics.

Marketing Execution – Assist in execution of other marketing programs as needed.


2-3 years of experience in marketing at an organization with a strong online presence -- or a marketing agency (4-year college degree in marketing or communications and internships in marketing can count toward work experience)

Strong organization and project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and timelines

Excellent writing and communication skills

Ability to think creatively

Comfortable with quantitative analysis and working with data

Experience with advertising, media planning, video production, digital marketing, and/or social media are pluses

Positive attitude, proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
