OBJECTIVE:
Development and maintenance of a Brand Protection Technologies Program for Takeda globally. Provide expert guidance and recommendations regarding Brand Protection Technologies. Work with production, quality assurance, packaging technology, supply chain and regulatory to develop and implement brand security technologies for Takeda worldwide. The position will oversee brand security technology vendor selection and evaluation and will lead development and implementation of new technologies globally.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develops, implements and manages new brand protection technologies for Takeda’s global product line in accordance with Takeda’s Brand Protection Technologies Strategy.

Provides guidance and feedback on the development and life cycle management of the Brand Protection Technologies.

Maintains understanding of changing regulatory issues, forecast implementation challenges and adjusts timelines to minimize disruption.

Collaborates with production, quality assurance, packaging technology, supply chain, regulatory and other groups to evaluate, implement and measure effectiveness of different brand security technologies.

Work with quality, regulatory, and, marketing to ensure that brand protection technologies meet regulatory and commercial requirements and/or expectations regarding the packaging artwork and/or design.

Identifies, evaluates, selects and manages brand protection technologies vendors.

Identifies realistic and cost-effective new technologies and leads the cross-functional evaluation of same.

Provide oversight to brand protection technologies implementation pilots and projects, ensuring proper documentation, budgetary, and project management goals are met in a timely fashion.

Independently identifies and resolves issues within the Brand Protection Technologies Program.

Assists with other duties as assigned by management.

Develops key liaison contacts in the pharmaceutical industry, law enforcement, government and regulatory agencies. Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
Bachelors Degree required;

Minimum of 10 years professional experience in a combination of law enforcement, brand protection technologies, and/or corporate security experience.

Basic understanding of the commercial supply chains.

Knowledge of brand security technologies required.

Leadership skills in dealing with cross-functional teams and the ability to influence stakeholders such as Quality Assurance; Production; Legal and Operations.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Manual dexterity required to operate office equipment (i.e. computers, phones, etc.).

Carrying, handling and reaching for objects.

Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time while traveling.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness to travel to various meetings or client sites, including overnight trips. International travel will be required.

Requires approximately 40% travel.
