We want to immediately hire a creative, hardworking manufacturing engineer who wants to work on state-of the art inflight entertainment components, aircraft cabin management systems and lighting on large VVIP aircraft for VVIP customers all over the world.

The successful candidate will be capable of solving process and product problems in a fully integrated, fast paced, custom manufacturing environment. We are looking to continually improve products and processes in 3D printing, CNC machining, printed circuit board manufacturing, electro-mechanical assembly, coatings, test and FAA compliance.

Job Duties Technical Support to manufacturing and the connection between the manufacturing and engineering teams Process development and improvement Drawing interpretation and work instruction development Improve quality to include, quality measurement, yield improvement, root cause analysis and recommendations for design for manufacturability Improve productivity and simplify work processes Large volume 3D printing enhancement CNC and PnP program support Familiarity with Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and the use of VSM to apply lean manufacturing principles to improve processes Capacity and utilization analysis and improvement Capital equipment justification and Facility planning Recommendations for test procedures, fixtures and processes to improve quality Other duties as assigned

Required Skills, Education and Experience BS, Engineering, engineering sciences or related field -- BSEE is a plus 5 years manufacturing experience with experience in electro-mechanical assembly, CNC machining and environments Hands-on experience with electromechanical assembly, hand soldering and automated pick and place equipment and circuit card manufacturing Ability to move quickly from task to task in a fast paced custom manufacturing environment Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both Engineering and Manufacturing personnel Experience developing, implementing and maintaining manufacturing work instructions Must have a strong bias-to-action and be an aggressive self-starter Demonstrated ability to implement single piece flow and demand-pull manufacturing and continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles Practical experience developing bills of material Familiarity with manufacturing planning tools and systems
