Description:Capital Program Management (CPM) is a consulting firm specializing in the planning and management of large capital outlay building programs for public and institutional clients. Job Summary:CPM is currently looking for a full-time Budget Analyst to work at our Long Beach client district site bond office. The successful candidate for this position will work with project managers and school district financial/accounting department to develop, monitor and adjust budgets for construction and/or modernization projects; close out projects; prepare state reports and process invoices. Write protocols and processes and prepare and present training materials.
Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent education and experience required. Knowledge of school district accounting and SACS coding a must. Familiarity with school district software applications such as Timberline, and Account-Ability a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Must be highly proficient with Word and Excel. Must thrive in an environment with multiple and regular deadlines. Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and travel occasionally.
