Title: Build Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Nytec is looking for a Build Engineer to manage critical areas of our build and source-control infrastructure.

Role:
-Deliver daily builds of software and device images
-Manage source control systems including performing integration across branches
-Improve performance and reliability of the daily and release build processes
-Integrate automated testing into daily builds

Skills:
-Minimum 5 years of experience with C and C++
-Minimum 3 years of experience as a build engineer
-Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) including Visual Studio integration
-Experience with Source Depot, Perforce, or similar source control systems
-Must be proficient with MSBuild, XAML and related technologies

Highly Preferred Skills:
-Experience with Windows Test Technologies (WTT) and Test Authoring and Execution Framework (TAEF)
-Experience with the Windows development, release, and build process
-Solid experience writing automated scripts (batch files, PERL, PowerShell, etc.)
-Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
-Proven track record optimizing hardware and network configurations

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or computer engineering
